Wasting Time Volume 49

Welcome back time wasters. So this week the Lurker downloaded the 80's animated series of the Incredible Hulk with Stan Lee voice over and it has been a big geek fest. Seriously it is just so..well eighties. Stan Lee's voiceover makes the whole thing. Also most of the voices are GI Joe voices as well. Freakin awesome. Anyway enough about that. Speaking of geek remember this weekend is the Mars Phoenix Lander. It should land on Mars around 7:50 PM this Sunday. For all of you science and space nerds this is the big fun. The Lurker wanted to raise a toast to the lander but what to drink? The Lurker posed the question on Yahoo Answers and got some decent responses. Alright shall we get time wasting?

Two other things. If you have any bits of interest please send them in. The Lurker is trying to see as much as possible but there is just not enough time for the internet. Damn you internet.
Also The Lurker put out another plea for video tapes on craigslist. If anyone wants to donate email me. Almost completely out.

Robo Chick 2000

OK, so a week ago two chicks were born to the Lurker household. In the usual manner with all who live here there was something healthwise wrong. One of them had an extremely limpy leg. So we needed to immobilize the leg while it healed. The problem was that no matter what we did limpy would flop out. So the Lurker whipped out his trusty pliers and with the assistance of the Lurker's niece (she needs a nickname....hmmmm) the Robo Chick 2000 was born. Essentially it straps the chicken in and has two little feeding trays. The Lurker wanted something that resembled your experience on an airplane. Anyway here are the pics.
Oh yes the chicken is walking with a slightly small gait but is doing fine....YAY! Most of the congrats goes to Mrs. Lurker because she really took care of them.
The Lurker wonders if PETA approves of this device.

Wasting Time Volume 47

Not much to say but the Lurker did find two magical things on Demonoid the other day. Oh Ya the Lurker may not have mentioned that he got a birthday gift of the return of the best torrent site and community out there. Lots of hours have been logged on it since its revival. One is the Dreamworks show called Invasion America. If you like Exo squad and the x-files then this is for you. The only problem is that it ends with the words book one and apparently was never completed. Still about 13 episodes and it was excellent. The other find that was most awesome and hideous was the Star Wars Christmas album called Chistmas in the Stars. Seriously just the worst and the best at the same time. Anthony Daniels singing xmas tunes. I played it for Mrs. Lurker and she was appropriately horrified. Anyway lets get to some wasting of time
